Registration for the JASNA AGM in Washington DC will open on June 8, 10:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time.

Registration Fees & Deadlines

Early registration Fee until July 15: $305
Regular registration Fee until September 16: $365
Companion (limited to 25) Fee: $225

Eligibility

Registrants must be JASNA members in good standing at the time of registration. Students may register only if they are in the ninth grade or higher. A brochure describing the registration procedure is available by clicking this link;

Our next meeting will be Saturday June 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the Monte Vista Christian Church, located at 3501 Campus Blvd NE. A map is attached.

"Three Face of Emma"

For the June meeting we will celebrate the 200th anniversary of the publication of Emma! We will discuss three themes in Emma:

-Emma as matchmaker

-Emma as caregiver

-Emma as socialite

We need volunteers to present one of these faces of Emma.
For the Emma as caregiver, Joanne has an article from the New York Times.
Please call Joanne at 463-5300 if you want to present one of these aspects of Emma, or if you have another idea for a theme.

Refreshments will be served. Please bring something to share.

For readers of Victoria Magazine, Nancy has a friend in her church who is getting rid of all her Victoria Magazines; she has been a member since the very beginning.... and she would GIVE them away to those who are interested!! Contact Nancy at 8963369 if you would like the collection.
